The Ambulance ( ICU on wheels) was donated by the Parvathaneni Foundation, Hyderabad and Liugong India Private Limited, New Delhi to the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on 14th July, 2024.

The keys was handed over to the honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N Chandra Babu Naidu in the presence of senior State Govt. officials.

Family members of Late Shri P Upendra, former Union Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India were present on the occasion.

The ICU-on-Wheels costing around Rs. 40 lakhs is a highly advanced mobile unit equipped with the latest medical equipment, including ventilators, defibrillators and patient monitors. This initiative aims to provide critical care services to patients in remote and underserved areas, ensuring timely medical intervention and saving lives.

Ambulance ( ICU-on - Wheels) has been positioned at Vijayawada General Hospital.
